Coronavirus-COVID-19: what to do when you get back in the house
Ideally, you must have a disinfection zone.
If you have an entrance room it is ideal, or a small area close to the door.
You have to try not to enter this area except when you enter or leave the house.
Everything that comes into the house must remain in this area before it can be taken to the other areas of the house.
If you can, arrange a small closet for used clothes and shoes outside.
If you do not have a closet for this purpose, you can use a chair carefully covered with large plastic bags or rather a sheet that you will wash often.
Stop in the entrance
- deposit anything you have brought home: groceries, briefcases, computers, etc.
- If you are wearing disposable gloves, remove them without touching the outside, that is, turning them while removing them. Put them in the closed plastic bag.
Take off your shoes and clothes outside. If possible, take away all yours clothes. Leave the clothes in the entrance and possibly store them in an entrance closet dedicated to infected clothes.
- Take keys, cell phones, wallets, etc. out of your pockets and leave them in.
Go in toilette
- If your gloves are reusable, wash your hands carefully before removing them, as if you didn't have gloves. Dry your gloves. Then take off your gloves.
Wash your hands very carefully, at least 40 seconds.
Wash your face with soap.
Take a shower with care. Hairs are very important because them captures a large amount of particles from the atmosphere and releases them everywhere when you move.
- If you can't wash your hair, rub them very carefully for ten minutes with a towel that you then immediately wash with disinfectant and possibly above 60 degrees.
Go back at the entrance
- carefully disinfect all the items you have left inbound: mobile phone, wallets, keys, coins, spending, computers, briefcase, etc.
- pick up only the strictly necessary items and leave inbound everything you don't need right away.
- put your shoes and other stuff in the closet of infected items.
- disinfect the floor where you have placed your shoes or other items.
